I am an independent music maker based in Tucson, AZ USA. The music I create crosses the genre boundaries so I like to call it "rocktronica" I've been playing music for as long as I can remember. I have played in a lot of different bands at a lot of different venues. This EP is a solo project. I used and played all of the real instruments, loops, sequences, and arrangements myself. I also did all of the mixing, mastering, and producing. It was all done in a little 10 foot by 8 foot room in my house on a computer that I built especially for recording music. This was all done independently. I have had no financial backing from any entities. I worked very hard to earn the money I needed to buy all my own equipment. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on musical equipment and education, most of the time earning just a little over minimum wage and still being able to support myself. I have been married happily since October 9th of 2008 to a wonderful woman who is a special education teacher. We have a happy life living in a little manufactured home out in the desert.
I have recently been listening to a lot of affirmations on YouTube. One of the most powerful videos that I know of talks about how all people want a joyful, loving, and peaceful existence. This is what gave me the motivation to create this EP and send it out to the world. I am on a mission to create a joyful, loving, and peaceful world for everyone, including myself. I asked myself the question, how can I best serve the universe and all the people of the world. It hit me instantly that I should share my music. So I present to you my solo EP "Tripwire". Know that I am presenting this to you while I have your best intentions in mind. I am trying to create a joyful, loving, and peaceful world for you.
